New 6.1 versions of Handy Backup and Handy Backup Server

The new 6.1 version of Handy Backup allows protecting your PC easy as never before. User interface has undergone several enhancements: now the Task View window allows sorting tasks by name, type, status, etc. which allows managing tasks much easier. The opportunity to export and import program configuration (unavailable in version 6.0) was returned back into the program. The configuration exported from versions 5.8 and earlier is incompatible with Handy Backup 6.1, however you can simply install the new version above the old one and all data will be converted automatically. Outlook and Outlook Express plug-ins were replaced with a common Outlook plug-in which incorporates both of them and also includes support for Outlook 2007 backup and Windows Mail backup.

Multi-User Password Management Becomes Easier with Handy Password 4.3

Handy Password 4.3, a new version of a high-rated password manager and form filler by Novosoft LLC, has been released. The new version offers users an improved functionality allowing them to efficiently manage logins and passwords in multi-user environment and first of all within corporate networks. Handy Password 4.3 is installed on user machines and provides access to all corporate resources an employee is authorized to work with without filling out checkout forms manually. The program does this for him automatically and the user knows neither passwords nor logins as he does not see them while logging in. This information is stored in a secured database and available only to the system administrator who can easily change it when needed.
