Customer is one of the biggest ice-cream producers in the country. In order to stay competitive in the marketplace, the company should from time to time launch new products onto the market. A critical success factor for development of each new product is to ensure the high standards of product quality. Highest product quality is a priority for our customer; that is why our customer is an ISO 9002 certified company.

Because the quality assurance process involves many people from various departments, it is often a complex and time-consuming process. The customer sought a way to automate the process of managing quality assurance. In order to solve the problem, the company contracted Novosoft, which had an experience in developing similar systems.

To satisfy the customer need, Novosoft developed quality assurance management system.

The system automates the processes of creating, reviewing, approving, and auditing all documents related to quality assurance. The system performs the following major functions:

	Assigns the company employees specific roles in the quality assurance process.
	Controls the implementation of tasks within assigned roles and responsibilities and provides due performance reports.
	Keeps track of all the changes in the documents related to quality assurance.
	Secures the information through assigning various access levels to the company employees involved in the process.

Thanks to the system, a manager has a comprehensive view of the quality assurance process at any time and is able to spot any problem at the early stages of process in a matter of seconds. The solution helped our customer to speed up the whole process of quality assurance for all new products. As a result, the company managed to reduce time-to-market and cut the administrative expenses down.
