Novosoft addressed the problem by developing an applet for widespread mobile phones. This applet represents a client/server application that allows a person to input and store diabetes-related data using relational database (Oracle 8i). The applet has a user-friendly interface, so even an inexperienced user can easily retrieve and record the data. Also, the applet can analyze the user entries and present them in comprehensible charts. Displaying information in easy-to-understand graphic format is an important tool for diabetes-affected people, since it helps them to easily recognize the signs of poor health conditions. |
